The business
Careerline serves students across multiple Gujarat locations and competes for high-intent searches covering study-abroad destinations, admissions support, IELTS, GRE, PTE and SAT coaching, and counselling services.
The website therefore has to balance service visibility, destination visibility, coaching-related intent, local search intent, branch relevance and lead-generation journeys - all at once, without one crowding out another.
The challenge
A broad service portfolio combined with multiple locations creates a complex keyword-to-page structure, and different search intents need to map clearly to different pages. Country and destination pages, coaching pages and service pages each had to own their intent; location relevance had to be explicit; and outdated or irrelevant content sections, insufficient local proof and unclear intent alignment were all working against the journey from an organic visit to a counselling enquiry.
The approach
The work ran as a local and service SEO programme: map what people are actually searching for to the pages that should answer it, make each page unmistakably local where the search is local, and then make the page useful enough to earn the enquiry.
Search-intent mapping
Mapped search intent across country pages, coaching pages and service pages, so each intent has one clear home.
Local targeting
Strengthened local targeting for high-intent location searches - terms in the shape of "IELTS coaching in Ahmedabad".
On-page optimisation
Recommended improvements across title tags, meta descriptions, H1 headings, opening-page copy, internal links and image optimisation.
Content-quality review
Identified content-quality risks: irrelevant page sections, outdated information, insufficient local proof and missing decision-support information.
Structured data
Recommended Service and FAQ structured data where a page's content genuinely supports it.
Conversion-supporting content
Recommended clearer information around fees, batches, demo options, trainers, results, reviews and branch details.
Lead-generation alignment
Connected the organic page improvements with clearer conversion-focused landing journeys and enquiry paths.
